This document outlines the terms and conditions governing your use of our services and your stay at Villa Escape In. By making a booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. General Booking & Payment

  • All reservations are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
  • The guest (“You” or “Data Principal”) agrees to provide accurate and complete information during the booking process.
  • Booking a stay with Villa Escape In constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Villa Escape In (“We” or “Data Fiduciary”).
  • We do not accommodate stays of more than 7 nights.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Standard Cancellation: A minimum of 3 days prior to check-in is required for a refund. A 10% cancellation fee will be deducted, and the remaining 90% will be refunded.
  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 3 days before check-in are non-refundable.
  • Booking Amendments: Changes to bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • No-Show: Failure to arrive without prior notification will result in the forfeiture of all payments. The room will be released at 11:00 AM on the day following the scheduled check-in.
  • Early Departure: A refund for unused nights may be granted at the sole discretion of the management if the guest checks out before 11:00 AM on the day of early departure.
  • Refund Process: Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 5-7 working days to the original payment method.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-In: Standard check-in time is [e.g., 2:00 PM]. Early check-in is subject to availability and management approval.
  • Check-Out: Standard check-out time is [e.g., 11:00 AM]. Late check-out may be available for an additional fee and is subject to availability.

4. Guest Conduct & Property Use

  • Guests are expected to maintain peace and respect for the property and other residents.
  • Any illegal activities, including but not limited to the use of illicit drugs, are strictly prohibited.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, furniture, or amenities during their stay.
  • A refundable security deposit may be required to cover potential damages. The amount will be determined and communicated prior to check-in.
  • Violation of any of these terms may result in immediate termination of the stay without a refund.

5. Privacy Policy

  • Data Collection: We collect personal data such as your name, mobile number, address, and government-issued ID for booking, security, and legal compliance (as required by the DPDP Act, 2023).
  • Consent: Your booking constitutes your consent for us to process your personal data for the purpose of providing our services.
  • Data Use: Your data is used to manage your booking, ensure your safety, and communicate with you.
  • Data Sharing: We do not sell or rent your personal data. It may be shared with third-party payment gateways or law enforcement if required by law.
  • Your Rights: As a Data Principal, you have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal data. Contact us at escapeinvilla@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

6. Liability

  • Villa Escape In is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury to guests or their personal property during their stay. Guests are advised to take all necessary precautions and secure their belongings.
  • We are not responsible for any issues arising from force majeure events, including natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • This policy and all disputes arising from it are governed by the laws of India.
  • Any claims or disputes will be adjudicated exclusively in the courts of Tamil Nadu.

8. Disclaimer

This document is a legally binding contract. By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions stated herein. This policy does not prejudice a consumer’s right to seek remedies available under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and other relevant Indian laws.
