This policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds for bookings made with Villa Escape In. By confirming a booking with us, the guest (“Guest” or “You”) agrees to the terms of this policy.

1. Cancellation Policy
Standard Cancellation: To receive a refund, a Guest must initiate a cancellation a minimum of (7 days/1 week) prior to the scheduled check-in date. A cancellation fee equivalent to 10% of the total booking amount will be deducted, and the remaining 90% will be refunded. This deduction covers processing, administrative, and booking management charges.
Late Cancellation: If a cancellation is requested less than 7 days before the scheduled check-in date, the booking amount is non-refundable.
Booking Amendments: Bookings are considered confirmed upon payment. Any changes to the booking, including date or duration, are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
2. No-Show Policy
If a Guest fails to arrive at the villa on the scheduled check-in date without prior notification (a “no-show”), the booking will be treated as a late cancellation.
Any advance deposit or payment made for the booking will be forfeited and will not be refunded.
Villa Escape In reserves the right to release the room and the booking from 11:00 AM on the day following the scheduled check-in date if no communication is received from the Guest. In such cases, the booking is automatically canceled, and no refund will be provided.
3. Early Departure Policy
If a Guest decides to check out of the villa before their scheduled departure date, they may be eligible for a refund for the unused nights.
To qualify for this refund, the Guest must check out before 11:00 AM on the day of their early departure.
The refund will be processed for the remaining nights of the original booking. The number of nights for which a refund is given will be at the sole discretion of the management.
4. Refund Process
All refunds will be processed within 5-7 working days from the date the cancellation is confirmed by Villa Escape In.
The refund amount will be credited back to the original payment method used to make the booking.
The actual time for the credited amount to reflect in your account may vary based on your bank or payment provider’s policies.
5. General Terms & Conditions
This policy applies to all bookings, regardless of whether they are for individuals or groups. Please note that Villa Escape In does not accommodate stays of more than 7 nights.
In matters of dispute, the terms of this policy are binding and will be considered the primary agreement between Villa Escape In and the Guest.
This policy is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu. Any disputes or claims arising from a booking or cancellation will be adjudicated under the relevant laws and judicial systems of the state.
Disclaimer
This policy is a legally binding contract. Villa Escape In is committed to a fair and transparent process. In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, any customer with a grievance may approach the relevant Consumer Commissions for redressal. This policy does not prejudice a consumer’s right to seek remedies available under Indian law.
